The Moab area has countless trails to go riding on your ATV.
You can participate in a guided tour or rent an ATV in town
for your own adventure. |

The Moab area has wonderful equestrian trails on
BLM, National Park and US National Forest Lands. Overnight boarding
and veterinary services available too. |
Hiking
Moab is not just the mountain biking mecca, it's an unknown
hiking mecca too! Sshhhhh....
Short desert hikes, hikes to arches, hikes to waterfalls, hikes
to ancient indian ruins, hikes on slickrock, pioneer cabins,
old mines, you name it and it's here. |

The famous slickrock trail, klondike bluffs, gemini bridges...
the list goes on and on. If you've got a dirt bike or dual sport
motorcycle you're in for a treat. Hundreds of miles of dirt,
desert and slickrock trails / roads await you. Don't have a

touring companies in Moab that will supply your bike and a guide.

National
Parks
Moab is the home base for two of the country's finest
National Parks, Arches National Park and Canyonlands National
Park. |
Rock
Art Viewing and Moab Area Archaeology
Humans have left their art in Moab for thousands of years on
the cliff walls. Within a short distance from town you can view
dozens of petroglyphs left by ancient man. If you have time
you'll also want to take a day trip to Hovenweep or visit Newspaper
Rock in the Needles area of Canyonlands. |

Kayaking & Canoeing
The Colorado River is literally on the edge of town. There are
a number of local companies who offer rafting, kayaking and
canoeing trips from several hours to several days. |

Climbing
The Moab area offers some of the best crack climbing in the
country. Nearby is the legendary Indian Creek cracks, multi
pitch desert towers, bouldering, Potash Road and sport climbing
in the secretive Mill Creek Canyon. Of course, Moab is the base
camp for your climbing trip and offers several climbing shops
and local guides. |
Dinosaur
Tracks
There were some big lizards in Moab millions of years ago and
they left their footprints to prove it. Several locations in
and around Moab you can view their actual footprints fossilized
in the stone. Or, visit the local rock and fossil shop and town
and see the some amazing dinosaur fossils. You never know, you
may find your own! |
Shopping
Main Street Moab is a shopping paradise if you're looking for
the unusual, eclectic or unique. Native American art, outdoor
shops, souvenirs, art and photo galleries and outdoor clothing
are just some of the few options available. |
